I’ve spent another week en-theos. Let me know what you think via twitter at @jamiesmartcom, on my Facebook page here, or in the comments below.
1. A quotation I’m appreciating this week
One of my favourite authors is the Jesuit priest and spiritual teacher, Anthony De Mello. His book “Awareness” is a personal favourite. Here’s one of the things he’s said that has deeply impacted me.
“Faith, my dears, is the readiness to change in order to follow the truth.”
2. A podcast that has me laughing out loud (Adults Only)
The side-splittingly funny podcast, My Dad Wrote A Porno https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/my-dad-wrote-a-porno/id1044196249?mt=2 is one of the few shows I listen to every single week. It’s explicit, absurd and hilarious in equal measure.
3. One of my favourite TV scenes ever (Adults Only)
As you may already know, one of my favourite TV series’ of all time is Larry David’s brilliant improvised comedy, Curb Your Enthusiasm. ** Spoiler alert: This is the final episode of season 3, and gives the game away, so don’t watch it unless you don’t mind that. It’s also extremely sweary. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYmV70_U3oA
4. Our company values
A lot of people told me how much they appreciated the #TeamClarity vision and values chart I shared in JST 137 https://www.jamiesmart.com/jst137/
It’s something we’re very enthusiastic about, so I hope you like it.
5. This week’s 3 minute miracle
Jimmy Cliff’s classic Many Rivers to Cross www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGeCeK85sUg still has the power to move me to tears. Here’s a beautiful rendition he gave on the show Later with host Jools Holland tinkling the ivories masterfully. Enjoy!
By the way, you’ve still got time to enter the competition to win a 75-minute Professional Practice Breakthrough session with me (worth £2,000). You can enter for your chance to win here: https://www.jamiesmart.com/expo-giveaway/
That’s it for this week. Enjoy!
Big love
Jamie
