Featured Show Highlights
When Randall started his journey, he was a CEO of a large insurance company. However, he found himself more interested in teaching and developing his employees, and because of this realization, decided to change the direction of his career and start his business in consulting.
Randall has always had a love for presentation and sharing new discoveries and developing people by teaching. As Randall looks back, it has been his interest since he was a boy in the schoolyard getting into a fight with another boy. Instead of beating the boy in the fight, Randall began to coach him on how to fight better.
After opening his consulting business and discovering a method called the “Inside Out Method”, Randall was helping many businesses grow as leaders, teams and organizations. He was able to help a company return from a major loss to a very large profit, develop the staff and solve the issue with the company’s high turnover rate. He structured his success around having group and individual conversations with employees in different ranks within the company, and deciphers what the best course of action is before taking action.
Randall says taking action is the only way you will get ahead. When you take action and move towards something, you will receive feedback on whether it is right for you.
When Randall was asked why he does what he does, he simply replies with “It’s what I do, it is what I enjoy.”
Quotes:
“I began to sense right then that there was something about me that I really enjoyed. Helping other people do better and learn, and changing from what they are to something that would serve them better.”
“For me this kind of work is the best work there is in the world. It is like I can’t believe I get paid for doing it because not only do I get to be of service to others but the work itself is continuously helping me personally to grow.”
