Last month, I got the chance to interview my friend Jeff Booth, author, coach and co-founder of the intriguingly-named investment fund, “Ego Death Capital”.
Jeff mentors teams in entrepreneurial startups who are working with some of the most innovative ‘freedom technologies’ being created today.
Jeff’s the author of the massive bestseller “The Price of Tomorrow” and also wrote the foreword for Alex Gladstein’s book, “Hidden Repression: How the IMF and World Bank Sell Exploitation as Development” (I’ve read both books and they’re both excellent).
I reached out to Jeff because I caught glimpses of his spiritual philosopy shining through in interviews he’d done on other topics, so…
I wanted to find out what happens when we put spirituality, psychology and mindset at the top of the agenda.
What happened was terrific!
At a time when there’s understandable anxiety and fear about the chaos and uncertainty in the world, it was a pleasure to hear from someone who has real hope for an abundant future, and is helping build it today.
We covered a variety of topics, including:
– The ‘mirroring’ nature of our own perception: Including one of the most powerful metaphors I’ve heard for how we perceive ourselves and our experience.
– Scarcity vs. Abundance Mindset: We looked at the profound impact these different perspectives have on personal and societal decision-making. We also explored the *true* source of abundance.
– Technology and Innovation: We looked at how new advancements can shape society and the economy, contributing to shifts in wealth and power dynamics that create greater freedom for all
– Freedom and Control in Society: We talked about how new innovations are creating greater freedom and autonomy for individuals (this is really hopeful stuff!)
We also had loads of great questions from members of my community (I only got time to ask Jeff 4 or 5 of them but his answers were great):
