Ankush always dove deep into personal development by taking courses, reading books and listening to audio. With all of that experience, Ankush started questioning whether he should stay in his corporate job or start his own business. He decided coaching was the way to go because of his extensive studies and his need to help people.
When Ankush first met Jamie and received coaching, he quickly realized that there wasn’t a special formula with the principals around clarity. This process was about identifying the things and perspectives that hold us back.
As a coach, not preparing for an event or session actually gives more value and more room to be open to what is going on. This allows Ankush to use and discover different techniques along side the principals.
After stepping into his own coaching business three years ago, Ankush has had many realizations along the way.
Ankush knew there was certain things he had to learn but they were based around the business and not necessarily around his coaching style. He took everything step- by-step, breaking it down to manageable tasks. The only major block that he had was getting caught up in his own head, which he notices as well in his clients.
Some obstacles that he has overcome have been thinking that he wasn’t smart enough to start his own business, he wasn’t creative enough and that he wasn’t confident enough.

“What I found when I was setting up and transitioning is one of the things that really helped me from day one; I knew I wasn’t going to be perfect, but it made sense to me to go out and just try.”
“That’s the nature of our thinking; we have all got the power to think anything true or false at any moment.
A quote from Marianne Williamson: “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.”
