1. A quotation I’m appreciating this week
I kicked off the Clarity Trainer Training programme last weekend with a wonderful group of people. I shared several quotes with them, including the one I’m musing on this week (from the famous choreographer, Martha Graham).
“There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening, that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique.
And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and will be lost.”
2. An exciting new podcast
This week, I’m delighted to announce the launch of Your Exponential Practice Podcast. 3. A wonderful video with my favourite physicist
I love the work of physicist David Bohm. Here’s a video of him talking about the deceptive power of thought – fascinating stuff!
4. An amazing series of movies
When I wandered into a cinema in 2011 and saw the film Ip Man 2, I was blown away. The cinematography is fantastic, the fight scenes amazing, and Donnie Yen is simply wonderful in the title role. Ip Man was Bruce Lee’s teacher, and has become a mythical figure. The films Ip Man and Ip Man 2 are simply wonderful (at least, if you love slightly melodramatic martial arts movies).
5. This week’s 3 minute miracle
I’ve always loved the bass guitar. When the Sinead O’Connor and former PIL bassist Jah Wobble collaboration Visions of You first hit the airwaves, I was smitten. Jah Wobble’s bass prowess has found its way into much of the great music of the past few decades, but Visions of You will, I suspect, always be my favourite example of his work. Great stuff!
One last thing: Just over three years ago, I launched the first ever Certified Clarity Coach Training Programme. We’ve just completed the 3rd year, and we’re building a close-knit community of highly-skilled, Certified Clarity Coaches and Practitioners. As well as the students who join us live in-person, we’ve got people training with us from all around the world (from as far afield as Brazil and Australia) via our state-of-the-art virtual technology. So I’m happy to announce the 2016 / 2017 programme, and we’ve made some changes. The programme is by application only, and the selection criteria is strict.
