I’m a huge fan of British documentary-maker Adam Curtis. His films are extraordinary. I was listening to him again on Russell Brand’s podcast and he said something that speaks to the ‘reality tunnels’ we all live in. Here it is:
“Someone once said ‘The sign of a great ideology is something that’s doesn’t look like an ideology. That you just accept as natural and normal.’”
2. A podcast that’s blowing people’s minds
A few weeks ago, I did a coaching session during a free ‘Mindset Masterclass’. The session was with one of my clients – Christina Cooper; a coach and a therapist who’s already transitioned from charging by the hour to enrolling clients onto longer term coaching packages. As you’ll hear in this session she had some ‘teething pains’ with that, feeling uncomfortable about talking to clients about money and as you’ll hear, all of that turned out to be what I call a grounding issue.
