I’m currently reading the book, “The War on Normal People” by 2020 US Presidential candidate Andrew Yang. It’s probably the most important book I’ve read this year; a shocking picture of what our near-term, AI-driven future could very well look like. The game is about to change in ways we can scarcely imagine. I mention this, not to frighten anyone, but because it looks to me like it’s more important than ever that we embrace our true nature as creative, resilient and compassionate individuals and start getting ready for this! I was reading an interview with the Dalai Lama a while back, and came across this quote. It really resonated with me (or me with it). Today is the second day of a 2-day workshop I’m running with Clarity Coaches Dorothy Kolomeisky and Robin Lockhart called ‘Resolving the Roots of Youth Violence’. We’re sharing the principles behind clarity with youth workers from the UK and around the world, and looking at how we can support them in making a difference to the young people they work with.
