1. A quote I’m resonating with this week
Janis Joplin is one of the greatest singers of all time. Last week, I mentioned how much I’d enjoyed the documentary about her, “Little Girl Blue”. At one point, the talk show host Dick Cavett asks her, “What do you think when you’re singing, are you actually thinking what’s going on in the song, or can your mind be somewhere else?” Janis’ reply really got my attention, and reminded me of something I often say: When you’ve got nothing on your mind, you’re free to give your best.
